Morphology

Rhizome erect, up to 400 mm tall and 150 mm in diameter, set with somewhat fimbriate rhizome scales. Sori elongate. Fronds 3-pinnatifid. Stipe pale brown when dry, up to 1 m long. Lamina broadly ovate, acute, up to 1.5 x 1.4 mm, rhachis pale brown.
