Inflorescence a terminal paniculate thyrse, c. 12 cm. long.
Leaves up to 15 cm. long; petiole 2–3 cm. long, minutely pubescent; rhachis minutely pubescent, ridged or sometimes very narrowly winged; leaflets 5–7-jugate; petiolules 1–2 mm. long; leaflet-lamina up to 6 × 1·5–1·8 cm., narrowly elliptic to narrowly ovate, elliptic, oblique (especially at the base), thinly papyraceous to papyraceous, nearly glabrous above, sparsely minutely pubescent beneath, apex rounded or blunt, margin shallowly serrate especially towards the apex, base obliquely cuneate; lateral nerves c. 12 pairs.
Tree; branchlets minutely pubescent, soon glabrescent.
Petals 2·5 × 2 mm., broadly triangular, pilose, margins incurved at the base to form a pouch-like scale.
Flowers white, in cymules with peduncles up to 5 mm. long; pedicels 1–1·5 mm. long, nearly glabrous.
Sepals 1·5–3 × 1·5–2·5 mm., very unequal in size, elliptic to subcircular, ciliate.
Stamens with filaments 3·5 mm. long, pilose towards the base, and apiculate anthers 1·2 mm. long.
Fruit a 2(3)-winged samara; wing laterally elongated, 1·2 × 3 cm., glabrous.
