Morphology

Dwarf, many-branched, succulent perennial, up to 30 mm tall, many-branched from a flat-topped, underground caudex. Leaves hidden by ± triangular to broadly ovate stipular scales, darkening towards tip. Flowers solitary at branch tips, subsessile, white, cream or pink, stamens 40-80.
