Morphology

Short-stemmed, tightly tufted, succulent perennial, up to 120 mm tall, with bristles as long as or longer than leaves. Leaves obovate to ± clavate, apex truncate, downturned pustulate, tomentose at least when young. Flowers 1-3 per peduncle, pale pink, stamens ± 25. Seeds smoothly colliculate. Summer.
