Leaves slender and rounded. Stems with at least partly persistent, green, succulent stems. Decumbent to erect annual or biennial to 25 cm, branches with dome-shaped bladder cells. Flowers 1-few, pale yellow or cream-coloured. Fruits 5-locular.
