    First two photos are from a Tradescantia spathacea 'Sitara', which has been falsely called "Tradescantia spathacea", since it is a dwarf and infertile cultivar. It does not produce a spathe with flowers such as the Tradescantia spathacea. Thus, the epithet "spathacea" should not be used for this variety.
